Interesting they've chosen to hype up a (possibly so far) Conservative politician as a wrong 'un so shortly after utterly failing to expose a kiddly fiddler within the Beeb, isn't it? Wonder how long they've been sitting on this story.

the theory is that this came to light when they were investigating how saville got away with it so long

nah, someone we know who's connected to newsnight has just tweeted suggesting that basic.journalistic rules haven't been followed so.the lawyers have killed it. for now at least.
