Seems to make little difference, everytime I raise such an issue, I face a tag team barrage of argument trying to diminish the point, which is exactly the nature of microaggressions and after extended questioning of my position, the expectation is that I let it go. Funnily enough it's usually white heterosexual males who are the main actors
