Me? My point is that the mod thread had died as there was nothing else to discuss, despite your generous open invitation. So when someone asked why the phrase might be rude or offensive,.it seemed harmless to respond. After it was not derailing the thread, which had stalled and no one was being rude.

The closed thread has despite what you claim wandered off topic, not entirely due to yourself. I deleted what was a totally uncessary post and killed the thread.

Of course you wanted one last word so used the excuse we asked you start a new thread.

The Mods have better things to do than Moderate this forum - it's done as a favour, so let's do what we can to make their lives easier. I can argue for a long time on topics close to my heart but if/when it becomes a PITA for the Mods/Mark/STW it's time to step back.

The 'i like mods thread' drifted and was constrained. As a result, it died. Then it revived on the drift track. Then it was closed.

Apparently Charlie wants to explain something to us but nobody is interested or listening to him.
Apparently it's very important to him but not to anybody else so he's getting frustrated.
I think that's it but I haven't been paying attention to be honest.

Charlie, if you carry on you'll have the whole forum shut down. The people who mod/supervise this place have better things to do than pander to you.

For the record, I don't even know what 'the phrase' you are referring to is - my comment on last thread was in relation to being offended by being accused of smuggling drugs (which seemed surreal to me in its context). Certainly wasn't trying to frame anything as anything.
Unless 'smuggling drugs' is a phrase that I've never encountered before? In which case, Ill retire from speaking ever again, it's too easy to offend people.

Well on the previous thread you pulled me up for being personal, something you would "never do", then several posts later implied that I was an arse. So there's that.

I've still no idea what the purpose of this thread is though, beyond point scoring. Maybe you'd do us the honour of explaining some sort of topic at some point?
