Hmm. I thought the Catherine Tate episodes were going to be terrible though, and in their defence, they weren't that bad.

She is technically a very attractive woman. However - it is cast in stone that Dr. Who's assistant must be quirkiful - if you know what I mean.

Ms. Gillan is a dreamboat of the first water.

True, but Tate was still a good oddball choice.
Her off of Emmerdale just seems a bit, I dunno, normal?

I'm sceptical, but look forward to being proved wrong.

TBH she looks a lot less mainstream and plastic without make-up, which is a look Ms Gillan did well. She'd probably do well to emulate.
