I want to get a new car stereo (the old one cuts out) to replace this one in an '02 Micra:
I want one with a CD player and AUX in. will pretty much anything fit or do I need to be careful in which one I choose?
I was thinking of something like this:
Ebay car stereo
Looks like a std DIN size so the one on ebay should be ok. Hopefully it's installed with ISO fittings. If so it'll plug straight in. If not you should be able to get adapters for ISO to whatever the Nissan Micra plugs are.
Thanks for your advice. Ah yes, looks like I need an ISO adaptor, one of these:

Looks like Ebay is my oyster for choice then.
One more question, if I buy one with a USB socket would it also double as a phone charger or would it only play music off the phone - would be a nice facility.
Anything which has 'Made for iPhone, iPod' on it will charge a phone or pod, play music, and handle voice directions from satnav apps.
