I've been binging this with the wife Just recently. Seasons one and two were very good. Season 3 ,. Yeah but no. Does it pick up again? Ok, we've just got Kate Bush 20 mins in to S4 e1 and the wife describing it as a momentous scene... It's showing promise but.... Please, but are the comedy Russians done?
I thought it was a bit meh..
They got the 80's nostalgia bang on.. But that's about it.
I couldn't be bothered with S4, my daughter loves it though. Paper Girls is better IMO.

Trailer watched well 10 secs - dire and messed up.
S4 much better than S3, IMO, once it gets going.

Personally I thought S4 was a curates egg. The Russia story is pretty much pointless, just a way to bring back the monsters and give Murray a bit part and create a story for Hopper and Joyce. Splitting the gang up didn't really work for me, again, just a road trip with perhaps the most 2d character ever created (ironic given the multi dimensional themes ) the rest of the Gang doing Stranger things stuff is pretty cool. 6/10
I thought S4 was OK. Curate's egg is a good summary.
They should have finished with the first series which was great for what it was - for those of us of a certain age! 🙂
All the other seasons are re-hashing old ground. S3 was the worst.
It's still a decent watch if there's nothing else on.
