Looking for somewhere for a weekend away for a friends get together.

10-12 adults + 8 monkeys

Cottage / Barn / Glamping / Camping / Wooden huts or any mixture of the above

Anywhere in the UK really as people coming from everywhere..

What is there?

Symonds Yat?

Loads of stuff nearby to do. Lots of great walking, pubs, canoeing/kayaking.

Pretty easy to get to for most, only 25mins from the M5/M50 junction

Lots of accom options, cabins, houses, camping etc.

not safe at the moment. There's anti-mole mines in the ground and you'll get caught in the anti-magpie crossfire as well 🙂

this is a good source of To Dos

Pal had his 40th at swarthghyll bunk barns and outdoor centre. Big games room, fort out side for kids. It's in the middle of nowhere tho.
We've also hired yha buildings for these sort of large get together events.

That looks ace!

But in hindsight maybe a bit far and should have said maybe anywhere in the UK south of Yorkshire

Doh I was just about to add

Tarnoutdoor is a stunning location.

ISTR the Landmark Trust rented out some biggish properties, though I don't recall how biggish.
