Borrowed my father in laws socket set, and have managed to lose one of the sockets. It's a 1/2 inch socket drive, and on the socket says vandium 3015. Does anybody have one of these who isn't particularly attached to it, as I want to restore his set back to normal.

Just buy a new socket of the required size?

You may want to mention what size it is too

Buy your own socket set, replace missing socket with your new one, job done. Just make sure it is of equal or greater quality than the original set.

Nothing worse than someone "borrowing" your tools & losing them. Speaking of which, must return that Avid bleed kit I borrowed...

Or just by a single socket from Halfords.

Were you working on a car? I have found long lost sockets rolling around on a steering cross member thing under the engine, I thought they had dropped into the undertray and fallen out through a gap 🙂
