Eldest daughter, Yr 11, has shown an interest in this for this summer.
Has anyone had a real world experience of this course and how it worked out, benefits or issues?
All the marketing blurb is obviously positive but I have inevitable concerns when my own child is heading off and away for a week or so.

We did some research (my job) for NCS amongst kids and parents several years ago - found it universally positive to extremely well rated, build in confidence, great experiences, strong friendships formed etc. I came away really surprised at how good it seemed having not heard of it before. Will def have my son going on it next year.

My son spent a summer on this and I can honestly say it changed him for the better. So much more confident around people of various ages and happy to hold a conversation with them.
His group did a sponsored walk and a Charity Day in the local park and raised over £1000 towards the local Baby Grow appeal at the hospital. All organised by themselves.
