Cool. Do you know what size they'll be? Also interested in a print of the cassette, any plans for that?

Actually the cassette is 10 speed. That is in no way enduro enough for my wall. Tsk.

So - how many hours did that take?!

Looks mint.

The cassette drawing (titled 'Man, MAchine, Mountain' turned out like this....

[img] [/img]

But unfortunately I don't have any of the prints left. Sorry.

PRints of Chain Reaction will be circa 600x600mm.

PrinceJohn - I used to count hours but now I don't bother as it is demoralising! 🙂 Probably 120-150 for the chainlinks, 150-200 for the cassette piece.

Not without incurring issues with "trade advertising" rules on the forum, I'd hazard.

Aye, 'cos that policy is about as watertight as Hebden Bridge.

I think it's amazing and I couldn't do it, but for me the bike & riders spoil an otherwise great picture. I'd rather just see the chain or the cassette, unless the rider was me!! 🙂

IMHO of course.

....sorry, but this deserves to be linked. Amazing stuff.

Think I agree with ads. Maybe if I commissioned a piece I'd want me in there, but otherwise just the hardware is impressive enough.

They'll have to tamp down on that sort of behaviour, its skate boarding on thin ice
Etc

I've just shown your amazing Facebook pictures to my 13 year old daughter, she is constantly drawing and really trying to better herself with more and more challenging pieces, currently finding movie posters/stills on her iPod and freehand drawing them. She loves it, we really need to push/channel her passion whilst she's young, we would love for her to make a living from it. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for all the comments! 🙂

Adscat - Please do encourage her - art is so fulfilling. I don't make a living from it, it's just a hobby, but I love it.

Dezb/Monkeychild - Art is so subjective, don't ever feel discouraged by looking at someone else's work. PRactice is key!

Milky1980 - I hope to swap that one for this one now! 🙂
