FWIW, I think he's grabbing the opportunities that exist in his life, and at that age why wouldn't he? It's only through doing that that he'll learn about recognising them when they're there, and the consequences/regrets associated with the choices of taking them or not.

sorry Deadly Darcy, it isn't bull. the lady in question is the one in racing ralphs post. i have seen her in the flesh and she has a great personality albeit a slightly risky one.
i don't get a kick in starting threads of a truely pointless nature (tankslapper's 3-way thread for example).
'bruce' has got himself in a bit of a predicament.
if it were me in his situation i'd ride it out for as long as possible before it got too heavy. although now might be the time before the kids start asking/saying too much. if things do spill over then he is royally ****'d. not only does he risk platic surgery but also the outfall of the potential break-up of his step-mums relationship with her bestmate.
he can't talk to his dad about it for the above reason. he doesn't have much to do with the kids at school/college because they are all much younger than him. he can't talk about it with his colleagues because they know the man of the wife he is 'um-hum'-ing.
thing is each time i talk to him about it i simply ask dirty questions and am not very hot with practical advice.
