Not a big surprise as she is 93 and has been in hospital a few weeks but still feeling sad and lonely in a hotel miles from anyone.
Save me from drowning my sorrows too much by posting funny, witty, cheerful or plain cruel stuff. Not looking for sympathy, just a bit of cheerfulness.
Cheers
Have a look at [url=
ridiculous r'n'b parody. ๐
the other day I made a self protection weapon when I had trouble with the neighbours from a can of baked beans in a ski sock. ๐ It was just in case anyone tried to break in.
This guy always makes me smile:

WCA, I have nothing more to offer than to say my thoughts are with you and your family. Courage, mon vieux, courage!
Hell, 93's a fine innings, though!
Big Bike Bash soon lots of prizes to be won, all welcome.
Snuck off to the bar for a while, sorry. Posting are great. I wonder if I could get a Swiss ball and try that? I am in Switzerland after all.
93 is a good innings. She is quite happy and has said for the last 10 years that she feels her life is fulfilled and would rather die than be kept alive through intervention. Really cool Grandma. I am 40 and still went for a drink with her in the Cricket Club in Chorley, not out of duty but for the fun conversations.
just need to get her buried before the Big Bike Bash!
Just tried some of the music on Music that never fails to cheer you up thread. Not bad

The dog's having flashbacks.
Not a funny site but I always find the Boston Globes Big Picture fascinating - take a look through the archives, there's some fantastic photojournalism in there.
