Any ideas?
On startup I get what sounds like the alarm when you hold a key down in error for 30secs, then it boots up o.k. but the Double click doesn't work, although scrolling/pointing does!
Have tried a restore and restarts, but still the alarm and no joy. Everything else seems fine. Also did Virus scan.
Any help from computer wizards gratefully received.
Gonna just double check and do scan in safe mode now.
It's ****ed! Buy a USB keyboard & mouse and ignore the laptop keyboard.

you must have a key stuck down or a button stuck - have you tried pulling each key off and cleaning and try and check if the touch pad buttons are stuck on?
