I'm guessing they are the new Kanye West ones. I'd be sticking them on ebay personally.

A nice watch can be passed on to family members etc, and certainly makes far more financial sense than an expensive mountain bike.

Those trainers though.....

Kanye bought up half the stock apparently, to limit the numbers available.

Or a carbon mtb which would be out of date in a few years.

Christ on a bendybus!!! They're ****ing goppin'!!!!

Look like a bell end, while wearing something designed by an even bigger bell end, to make said bell end considerably richer! Result! 😀

The eBay link shows they were £220 from Nike. What the hell is wrong with these "sneaker" collectors? that anyone would consider spending more than that on a pair of trainers? Either they keep them "boxfresh" forever in a darkened room in which case they've got some trainers in the cupboard or they wear them and look like this.

"Sneakers" are for sports and children.

They were $245 new from Nike apparently. So people on ebay are taking the p*ss.

They are horrid by the way.

Looks like the result of a kids competition to design some trainers where all the colouring pens were nacked except for the red one.

That'll be the next colouring-in contest for my kids after we've done snowboards. Maybe Nike/Kanye will be interested. Bearing in mind my five year old lad just got one of these for his birthday (it was the stand-out item for him on google images) his taste is also questionable

I can't figure out if Kanye West is a genius or a complete f***wit. Either way he's considerably richer than me.

Wow. I'm 38. If one of my mates turned up wearing those, he would get the piss taken out of him for weeks.

i've been a trainer collector for years tbf. with limited run stuff that's worth big money, it's sounds a bit strange, but it almost doesn't matter what they look like.. it's just about been able to grab a pair... i'll have em for a while then sell em on... yes it's a strange habit, but i generally make money at it, and it's better than wasting every penny on expensive bikes... oh.. hang on 😯

A fool and his money.......

if that's aimed at me.... i make money about 95% of the time... and the 5% of the time i don't is easily covered by my gains.

if it's aimed at people who buy limited run trainers in general, well, it's a just a harmless hobby... see above about your bike parts cost what?!?!?

Why don't you just ask him if he's your friend ?

If that involves being seen with him, I can understand the reluctance

Could work out to be a pretty good investment.

A pair of the original Kanye nikes sold for $93,000 a couple of years ago.

Nobody will be calling him a fool then will they 😉

I love hi-tops but those look pretty nasty IMO. Years ago I pre-ordered a pair of limited edition Slayer vans, for the first couple of years they lived in the box then I started to wear them. Mrscarlos was looking on ebay the other month and a pair sold for about £500 ,I wish I'd left them in the box now 😥
