No names, let's see if we can guess where it is. I drive up the road at the start of this every day to get to work..
I'll start with:

Filmed around Whitley Bay seafront.

Dream Academy's Life in a Northern Town was filmed in a few locations but a fair chunk in and around Newcastle.
No music videos but Scarlett Johansson once filled her old Transit with diesel at the BP station just up the road...
This was filmed round the corner from our house, Dexys Midnight Runners, come on Eileen!
This was filmed in the flat where the singer used to live, just round the corner. He used to drink in my local, usually with the drummer, but often with the other guys too. Was always a great laugh and full of great stories. He borrowed our guitarist for a gig once. Still lives locally and always makes a point of letting on or having a chat when we can. Makes me laugh. Knows his stuff. Not sure what he's up to now...
I saw Ali Campbell out of UB40 filling up his massive Range Rover at the garage opposite me mum's house once.
