Going through all my unlistened to stuff I’ve spent a few hours on Sammy Hagar and Ronnie Montrose. Mindless but quite enjoying that very aspect of it. I don’t think I’ve played it for at least 10 years.

Nah, I've always been of the opinion that music chooses you, rather than the other way around.
A bit like food, you like what you like, who cares?
Beware putting you iPod on shuffle at a party though, I'm saying no more...

Yeah. Done that. 2 of my own recordings played over the PA to huge crowds at a surf fest, they were not meant for anyone else to hear.

Saw Sammy Hagar back in the day. Great gig. “Get on your Bad Motorscooter and ride”

There's only one man on STW to answer that and we all know the answer he'll give.

You are bang to rights !!

If you feel that your Spotify playlist is fit for broadcast in a public place, you're doing something wrong. There should always be something shameful on it.

Mine is absolutely riddled with shite that I like.

1st rule of listening to personal music:

It’s for your pleasure and yours alone.

(In my case, cohabitee/s decree that their pleasure is greatly improved by insisting upon my wearing headphones)

If by country-rock you're talking Jason and the Scorchers then we're onto a winner, however if it's Billy Ray Cirus then there's a corner over there to go and hang your head in shame in 🙂

One of my favourite gigs was them and Los Lobos at The Electric Ballroom.
