but I reckon montylikesbeer has it with the Alfa Tipo 33 Stradale.
And me. I posted a picture of it first.
Apologies monsieur. I'm on a work PC and it's a bit finnickety as to which pictures I'm allowed to see.
I blame Monty for not checking first.
My neighbour drives an Aventador. It's a) huge; and b) ****ing amazing to look at
some of the new lotus cars look nice
Edit: I see Monty has beaten me too it. IMO the most beautiful car ever made.
AND I DID!
Yes Monty had it right. There are some good looking cars here, IMHO modern cars don't quite have the beauty of those designed by hand.
In aesthetic terms, is there a factual (rather than a keyboard warrior's opinion) reason why the Countach couldn't be the best designed car ever?
It's fathered everything they've made since.
Cx75 bag of spanners.
Koenigsegg ok....well damn fine
If you have to ask about about why a countach is a bag of shite !!! Maybe some folks aren't keyboard warriors but know more lamborghini than they do about bonding a spoon to a fork leg
Is the top one that Jag E-Type reworking what was on Top Gear?
The black one is a Di Tomaso Pantera. I know this because I had a Matchbox one and it mustuv bin one of the most obscure models I had. Very distinctive shape too.
The bottom one looks Italian, but I have a sneaking suspicion it might not be. It's got that Italian look though.
I thin Samuri's choice of the Alfa Tipo Stradale is edging it atm (even more so than my choice of the Ferrari 330 possibly), but after a very poor start, it seems more folk are understanding the concept of beauty. Although there will always be a few poor, misguided, deluded aesthetically illiterate souls they need our help; pity them for they know not what they speak of.
It's not considered a 'supercar' but it will cost you as much as one to keep on the road. There's a Yummy Mummy in Swiss Cottage I've seen a couple of times trying to chat her up (to get a ride) but I don't think she's having it tbh. 🙁
Beauty on four wheels:
Proper sexy car.
Wow theres a lot of ppl on here that have no idea what a supercar is or what beautiful means!! Haha

OK, I'll go for it.
Who are the people?
What is a supercar?
What is the meaning of beautiful?
Ernie, DS Décapotables always remind me the late, unlamented Alan Clark.
Which I'm sure you'll agree is enough to put anyone off their stroke.
I think the last truly beautiful supercar was the Maserati Birdcage 75th, it's a concept though.

Horsepower?
Having been lucky enough to drive just about all the Koeniseggs this is still my fav, just loved driving this on full slicks down the local lanes around the factory 8)
Shame it never made it into Le Mans, had a lot of potential, just needed the backing and track time.
And after driving a 1000bhp K'egg down the test track, all these other pretenders are just that, that's the difference between a supercar and a hypercar 😉
unlamented Alan Clark
speak for yourself. I think he's a legend.
The nazi sympathising wasnt his best hour but nobbing someone else's wife AND their daughter is AWESOME! 😉
His diaries make for some of the funniest political writing since Pepys.

Magic. Your wife's been worried sick about you finding out. I'll let her know it's all good.

Correct.

You are right about it not being Italian.

Well done Mr Mills.
Monteverdi was Swiss wasn't it?
One of my all time fave willy compensators, the Iso Griffo:

Also rather fond of this ugly duckling, the Lambo Espada. Possibly about as practical as they ever got with a V12 hatchback:
Seen it all now - a hummer in a most beautiful supercar thread.
For me, the Aston Martin Vanquish has the best combination of beauty, balance, assertiveness and poise. Not quite as brash as most modern supercars either.
Crap.
How do I post a pic of a blower Bently. Why can I just cut and paste. Stupid machine this. Ah well go and search yourselves.
Now wheres that box of Old Rosie. 😀
And no-one's worked out what the Jag is yet. So here's a different pic of it
Shush, it's an XK180 and it's ugly.
Matt, Blower was already posted.
Oh, and if you have a few bob to spare, I spotted the on the drive back in to town,

Metro 6r4 - too fast for some

F40. It's that simple.
Agree with the alfa sz choice too.
Jag XJ15? Check out clarkson on YouTube. It's slightly damn and just constantly spins it wheels, good looking though
agree with most of freds choices. lambo miura is right up there i recon. as is the ford gt40 and most ferraris of that era. most modern lambo's do it for me it has to be said. that new ferrari is also a fine looking machine.
It's frikkin minging, I know that much
Its a PANTS ZOZ with a gopping paint job
Looks like something Morgan might dream up.
is that showroom in london still open? I seem to remember that the guy who owned bristol sold them at the showroom and only sold them to those he approved of, you know the 'right sort of people' 🙂I'll have one of those Bristols please Rusty Spanner. They're selling them again now, sort of.

That was Tony Crooks. He sold Bristol to Toby Silverton, and earlier this year it went into receivership, but it appears to be up and running again.
there's a prize* for anyone that can tell me about this without right clicking:
Is it a Marcos?
EDIT - No it's not.
