😀 yay. Tried to sky+ it so I don’t miss it but there seems to be cricket on despite the listing saying it’s gone fishing? Hmmm.

I have a spare copy of Bobs book if anyone wants it for the price of postage? It's a good read.

I am, will msg you. And make a donation to BHF as well as postage, seeing as it was heart trouble that brought this odd couple together.

Getting a bit close for comfort there! I honestly thought I’d be less than 90 myself. Clearly I’ve been in denial… riding isn’t cutting through… might need to dig out the running shoes.

I don't need to measure (darent either) to know I need to #bemoreBob

As always was a nice bit of relaxing viewing on the sofa after my ride this afternoon.

everyone should #bemoreBob

He's like the indie national treasure, I don't know how many from the mainstream watch him (maybe more now because of WILTY, etc.) but to those that know, he's just delightful.

Loved it as always but where was Ted? Not even cameo appearance!

Ted's not in every episode. It's not even their dog!

Love it! Definitely #bemoreBob!

I've never done it but watching them makes me want to try fly fishing.

Ted has his own Instagram account. How he posts stuff with those little paws is a mystery.

Watching Bob Mortimer drink a bottle of fizzy water in one go and the resulting after effects. A comedy classic.

Totally second this, the missus doesn’t get it which I’m happy with!
It’s only partly about the fishing and mostly about those two brilliant men and their ways….

Their impressions of Ted crack me up too, I’d be happy for there to be endless series of it!

I cried laughing, and thought I must have woken up the rest of the house. (I was watching it late on Friday evening.) I replayed it for the girls the next day and cried laughing again.

Ted was on form looking rather splendid last night. I hear Bob has had some health issue last week, but can't find any detail. Anyone else heard?

From an online story.

He made the surprise revelation on Richard Herring’s podcast last night, saying: “I am not very well. I am not very healthy at the moment.

Yeah. Said he's been in hospital again after filming. Seem to remember reading about him suffering from rheumatoid arthritis years ago, but had been free of it since he was 34, but it has come back he says. Poor chap.

Healing vibes for Bob. If him or Attenborough pop off now, society will collapse.

Hmm, that's interesting, while I've enjoyed watching the new programs, there has been a nagging feeling in my mind that Bob wasn't quite on form.I know it's edited to death, but he often seemed a bit down on some of the life chat moments. Hope it's just a blip and he is looking after himself.

I thought he was looking pretty crap and I get the impression he doesn't look after himself. I really, really hope I'm wrong because he is a living national treasure.

Bob Mortimer is a genius. I hope his health doesn’t decline as fast as it has in recent years.

That’s interesting fasthaggis. I hadn’t seen any of the new series until watched this week’s episode and thought something was a bit ‘off’! I just thought they’d run out of things to say and hadn’t considered he was unwell. Get well soon Mr Mortimer.

News articles quote Bob as saying, "“I think because I was a smoker and an incredibly fast runner and a very dramatic dancer and I put that all in my younger years."

In the current series (episode 3?) Bob also discusses that he's been told his replaced arteries will need stenting soon. On the bright side, at least this is being monitored.

Keep well Bob!

Noticed that in the opening sequence animation Ted was with them on the peer. Nice touch.
