It's probably worth explaining moves just for the benefit of people who are learning the game. I know that in professional games it's frowned upon

I think there is more than one professional playing here while pretending otherwise. Fine level of play

I haven't read the whole game, so as an interluder has anyone commented on the obvious mishtake in the OP headline?

Anyway, I digress, and wonder if the Greathead Shield is one of the sub-rules allowed? In which case

Is Kew Park by water-taxi allowed this time of day?

It is between 15:00 & 17:30 which if I remember correctly in the 2nd edition 3rd revision of the Queens rule it was ok as long as you werent wearing a top-hat (I'm not)

Richmond, and the south western laterals are closed too. That leaves diagonals and shunting only south of the river.

That was close.

Not so fast, Flashy. Read Bregante's move again; he's misread my move and incorrectly moved from East Finchley.

He can't go directly to South Kensington from West Finchley off-peak (which is exactly why I corrected myself). The primary ordinals are still closed.

Do we have to take the first answer or is he allowed to change his mind?

Pretty sure its first answer unless we're playing by the Frankhouse deviations, and if we are no-one's mentioned it, I think he gets detained by transport police and misses three goes.

It's all very conservative play this morning, let's see how you handle some moves with flair.

Baker Street while I still can.
.
TFL

Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 February, no service between Wembley Park, Uxbridge and Northwood and between Baker Street and Aldgate. Rail replacement buses operate.

Bit of bugger, makes a complete mockery of the 'out of bounds' rules, I can hear Mortimer turning in his grave!

Oh bravo, now that's an inspired move!! ๐Ÿ˜€

So if I apply the Third Rail rule and shake Boris's hand while wearing a Tam O'Shanter I do belive I land at Canary Wharf!!

Good luck getting round that one! ๐Ÿ˜€

It's 2013, Hells. That sort of play may have worked before the introduction of Boris bikes, but it's now but a hop step and a jump to....

Alderley Edge

Tada!

Oh, no. I hadn't seen that that had been left open. Can I take my move back please. We don't want to hand it to CFH again, do we?
