I've got a MkIII 2.0 tdci that's started making a funny whine, specifically when steering and also slightly when applying revs. I suspect this to be the steering pump. Anyone have any suggestions?
Also how much is it likely to cost? I've found refurb pumps on the interweb for ~£85 with a £50 return fee for the old pump but how many hours labour is it going to be to replace? (I don't have time to see to it myself)
