Anyone got any recommendation's for a pressure washer that will work with Milwaukee batteries?

My corded pressure washer is on its last legs, fed up with the power lead, hose pipe and the pressure washer’s hose getting entangled

Ive got Milwaukee power tools so it makes sense to try and use those batteries, i know Milwaukee don't make a pressure washer so was wondering if there is a battery powered pressure washer from another brand that can use Milwaukee batteries?

I have seen battery convertors which allow you to use Milwaukee batteries on other brand’s power tools so wonder if that could be an option?

you'll get various non brand ones on amazon. They won't compare that favourably to a mains machine through so depends on what the application is.

How many batteries have you got? A decent powered washer will run a battery down pretty fast

I've got a Makita DHW080ZK that runs on two 18v batteries and will drain two 5amp/hr batteries in pretty short order - I've got loads of the batteries though. But washing 2 cars and a van requires cycling a bunch of batteries through three fast chargers 🙂 I've recently bought a pair of the massive 12amp/hr batteries and using those makes the machine a bit more of a credible proposition

Cheers for the replies

I've seen that Amazon one, the quality of the fittings doesn't look great so makes me wonder what the rest of the pressure washer is like

I've got two Milwaukee M18 5amp batteries, will mainly be used for washing the van and car (on different days) just needs enough power to snow foam then rinse, shampoo then rinse and finally spray a protective coating on

I've got a Worx 20v one, that looks quite similar to the Amazon one linked above. It's ok, but nothing like a mains powered one. It's pretty useless in getting my van clean. It gets the loose mud/debris off, but I need to sponge it to get all the grime off it, the same with my bike, good at getting it 'half' clean, but useless it making it shine.

something to keep in mind p is theres not really common pressure hose/lance fittings across all power washers, and cordless ones can be their own proprietary fitting - the Makita one I've got isn't a common fitting with their own mains ones for instance and doesn't seem to properly match any other make . So things like snow foam attachments might be a bother to find to fit if they don't come as part of the kit.

I managed to bodge fit an aftermarket snow foam doofer as makita's own 18v ones were out of stock at the time but its a bit awkward to use as the orientation of the fitting means the bottle sticks out sideways from the lance

Unless they've improved immeasurably since I had one, they are no way powerful enough for washing a car. Not the duration necessarily but the reason they're OK for bikes, (not enough power to easily blast through seals) means they don't remove grime. Much like alanl says.

There’s no way I’d be wasting my time with a battery pressure washer. Buy a petrol one if you CBA with a power lead.
