Why not carry on the Greek/Roman mythology theme set by 'Phoebe':

Hera, Juno, Minerva, Athena, Ceres, Hestia, Vesta, Hecate, Selene...

How about one of the nine Muses: Calliope, Urania, Clio, Polyhymnia, Melpomene, Terpsichore, Thalia, Euterpe, and Erato.

All wonderfully pretentious and Middle class...

Something with one syllable would roll nicely. Someone said Kate on the last page - that would work.

We used Grandparents names for first and middle but for a girl it just has to be Bob never tell her just wait for the reaction when she discovers Black Adder for the first time.

Definitely. The surname is double so it makes 'poetic' sense.

My Wife gave me free rein on the middle names and my Daughter got Kona and my Son Keasey (after Ken). I don't think she'd take that risk again, lucky I saw a man with a scalpel.

Why do we need a middle name?

What is the purpose of it?

I see it as a reason to have abit of fun. Its partly hidden after all.

My son's is Fox.

We always liked Ava as a girls name but we had 2 boys before medical (slice!)intervention prevented us having any more. For middle names son 1 has the name of a good friend who was taken away from us and son 2 has my wifes favourite uncles.
