Can anyone tell me why there is a red line leading up to Fort William on the Met Office  Rainfall Radar Map.?

Had a quick google and no answer in the  top few posts. Its not a border or a radar dead zone .Must be a reason and there is nohing that STW does not know.

No , its not directions to a powerkite shop................ actually it could be

Itsda continuation of the border between regions I think - you mean the dotted red line in the sea?  Zoom in and you can see black lines for regional borders and that red dotted line is the continuation of it.

Looks like it marks the boundary between the Argyll and Highland regions, if you head north you'll see there's another below Orkney.
