I'm sure some of you sartorial gents (knowing as you do so much about moisturisers, beard wax, hair gel, etc.) could advise on really good quality nail files or emery boards.

So what should I go for?

High Street chemist, large emery board in dark grey. Can't get more masculine than that!

One of these should do the trick

At least you wouldn't need to ask again afterwards 😉

Well at least cinnamon_girl takes these things seriously. Honestly I've got some really naff pink things from the local chemist which hardly touch my manly keratin finger-ends. That Makita may do the job though.

Depends really. If you're going for French nails then it's worth investing in a decent emery board, otherwise just get extensions.

I file my nails as otherwise I bite them down to the elbow. Tried sapphire coated glass and all kinds of posh stuff but come back to the metal ones you get at the chemist for about 2 quid.
