Men sometimes have fungal infections - fact!

Men don't always wash their feet - fact!

Well, I've been a wee bit naughty in resurrecting this. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

But, dammit, I still feel the same as last year. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Thanks for joining in with the spirit in which the original post was intended. 8)

no, she's actually a woman

I imagine your relationship with a lady/woman/girlfriend to be like that of the protagonist in McCarthy's Child of God ๐Ÿ™‚

Jeez c_g, some of us here are from Oz, Far North Queensland to be precise, and thongs (flipflops to you) are dress shoes for us. Even the hot sheilas wear them.

As far as my feet smelling because they are unwashed, that's a bit insulting. I wash my feet once a year whether they need it or not.

And as for socks and sandals, that's my winter snow tramping rig.

Sandals myself. I like to wear them after riding. But I have large, hairy, but otherwise quite normal feet (apart from oversized big-toes). I quite like feet actually. I think women going barefoot is nice. Could be borderline fetish!

My pet hate on men has always been Pringle type jumpers slung over shoulders, it's a bit too Wham or Golf club/Rugby club and makes me cringe big time. Thongs(flip flops) I don't have an issue with if your feet look ok.

Bloody hell! Started reading the thread, saw a Rudeboy comment, realised how old it was, and skipped here to express my astonishment. Who resurrected the thread?

I gave up on flip-flops after a front of flip-flop folding/toe joint/tarmac interface whilst running along... Uuurgh - the memory of it makes me shudder! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Running in flip-flops requires a special technique, as demonstrated

Personally I've ridden bikes, played cricket and operated chainsaws wearing them. They are true multi-purpose footwear.

So, am I allowed to go down Waitrose in my PJ bottoms, a vest and my flip flops?

PS I'm thinking about not showering before the trip either.

I hate wearing flip flops. They're impossible to walk properly in and make stupid flapping sounds. No one wants to see my feet anyway.

Doh! that's why their called FlipFlops, Took me ages to get used to wearing them with all the rubbing between me toes, now I have grown tougher (non fungal) Skin I wear mine quit happily, I may even invest in a new pair. ๐Ÿ˜€

As much as I now believe C_G to be a badger collecting weirdo, she's bang on the money with this. I live in shorts 12 months a year, but would never be seen in sandals/flip-flops unless I was on a beach, and that's never happened yet.
Must be an age thing on here....... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Flip flops are great - but they must be the real deal - cheap chinese rubber ones non of your "sports sandal" or birkenstocks please.

doesn't anyone else find it all a bit weird that some people seem to have such strong feeling about what other people are wearing?
