A fantastic show on Radio 4, highly recommended.

Thanks for that, very good listen. A few years back someone jumped out infront of me on my way home from work one winter evening in a bid to end it all, and even though I managed to avoid him it shook me up for quite some time after. No idea how I would have coped with it if I had hit him.

Stopped listening after the "he came out of nowhere" excuse. For ****s sake the chap was on crutches he did not "come out of nowhere". No doubt the rest was equally self-serving but it smacked of standard not holding the operator of 1 to 2 tonnes of lethal machinery to account by the legal process.

I listened to that in the car on some wiggly narrow roads in the rain. Put me in quite an odd mood for a run over Stanage in the wet. Could have been self-serving but wasn't. A friend of mine has sat in the same seat as the narrator and it chimed a chord for me.
