He has had a fantastic career and retires in one piece and on his own terms, winning ๐
Love him or loath him he was pretty good.
I'm a fan, quite a big fan.
Glad he's managed to do it all.
Hope he still, stays in biking in some way or other.

One of the best ever m/c riders on the planet!
He's an arrogant,petty minded,opinionated,vicious little Roman......and I'll miss him greatly ๐
Exciting racer.
I always enjoy his and Hayden's supermoto vids.
Pro class in drifting.
Had a Biaggi replica lid back in the day... Hadn't realised he'd won WSBK this year - good for him
Probably my all time favourite rider. It's no coincidence I have a son called Max.
He would have been more popular but suffered at the hands of the pro-Rossi media machine in GP's which always grated with me.
After I read about his childhood, I can see why he was always so driven and focussed during race weekend. He didn't start racing until he was 18 but within 2 years was on the GP circuit! From never racing to riding in 250GP's in 2 years is astonishing - just think if he'd started as early as the likes of Rossi!
He'd have been more popular if he hadnt been such an asshat in the motogp paddock, the stories are varied and many.
Always liked his style, soooo smooth, never had the bike out of shape. In an interview he was asked about Lorenzo and commented that he had a bit to learn yet, at this point Lorenzo already had one motogp title under his belt, something Max was never quite good enough to achieve.
I think Lorenzo modeled his style on Biaggi ..
Seemingly Biaggi is his hero.
Sick ryder ! could of had the victories in another era unfotunatly had to make do lurking in Rossi's shadow, no doubt will be offered punditry by Italian media machine, I reckon he may even change his mind!?
He got a little out of shape sometimes... ๐
He only suffered at the hand of the media as he could be a total arse, I think he needed that mindset to be a great racer. Fogarty was the same.
Not many of the old 500cc two stroke riders left competing now. That makes me sad.
Always entertaining on and off the track, Max will be missed but he really has served his time and is lucky to leave the sport through choice with full fitness.
Its his 250 days that I loved the most.

Unmatched on a 250 IMHO.
If he'd ridden MotoGP in the 800 era it would've suited him very well.
