SIMBA VS OTTY?
Looking at the top model of each. Has anyone got an opinion or done the research. Main thing will be which is best for a healthier lower back 👌

if you're a hot sleeper - this may not be for you! its my only gripe with it - else its ace!

gunna have to say it depends on your back but we found the foam mattresses to simply be better for us. The best being Tempur, which are extremely expenise compare to the others, and have a warranty that is worthless. We've gone Eve this time and at a quarter of the price, it's not quite as comfortable, but still not caused lower back issues, like our old 'sprung' mattress

Make sure if It's a heavy one like ours that It's got handles on.

We got a Kaymed which is very comfy but It's a bastid to rotate without handles.

We need a new one, but not sure about foam. My mum had one in her spare room a few years ago that I stayed on a couple of times, it was really hot. Next time I stayed she’d changed it for something else after other guests had also complained. Are they better these days?

Earlier this evening though I did fall asleep very comfortably on the IKEA foam mattress for the camper van. It was on the lounge floor having just cut it to size.

My Hypnos Bedstead One is one of the best things I ever bought. It was a bit spend at the time @ c. £1k, but is a veritable bargain now at half that:

It’s not to firm, not to soft...

Isn’t it about now that someone usually recommends an IKEA Hovag?

We're saving up for a full house swap to Hovag - 3 singles and a double.

All the foam mattresses I’ve tried have been variations of ‘cook yourself alive in your sleep’ despite the various claims of the manufacturers.

There’s no getting around the fact that the thermal mass of a lump of latex is more than a few springs and some air.

Anyway, if you’re not a hot sleeper all the foam mattresses in the same price bracket are more or less the same so you might as well pick based on the website logo.

Thanks all. So sounds like foam is a big problem for heat.
Does that include the hybrids as well?
The SIMBA pro is supposed to be cooler from their claims. Can’t say I’ve ever slept on a bed that feels unbearably hot.
