Looking for recommendations for a family friendly hotel near Marrakech.
A few years ago stayed in Road Charai right in the Medina, live in very clean comfortable accommodation in a third world part of the city but it is the real Marrakech all the sounds ,smells but well worth it if you've never been
A wee trip to Essaouira maybe stay a night there and a trip up the Atlas mountains slightly touristy
Tagine maybe just for one evening and beer can be had in restaurants

Yes essaouira was our lucky escape from marrakesh, the novelty of smells, scams and live chickens in the butchers soon wore off, so we hired a car and went to essaouira, what a lovely relaxed place to spend a few days.
