This is what's so glorious about conspiracy fruitloops.

Any evidence is because of a deep state conspiracy. Any lack of evidence is proof of a deep state conspiracy. Absolutely anything can, and will, be interpreted to support the conspiracy, even if it totally disproves the conspiracy.

He was not the only source of allegations against some of those people. Private Eye, for example, was running stories against Proctor in the 80s. This guys obviously a fruit and nut case but that doesn't clear all the allegations. Lost documents by May and Hodge leave a bit of a stink, imv.

No one had even heard of the moon 50 years ago, let alone flown a fairy-liquid bottle there. It's all modern restructuring of the past by the Internet and stuff like chemtrails and will make sense to you sheeple once you become woke with Boris in charge. While not related to this case I have a real distrust of the establishment and police .
First hand I’ve seen our local titled land owner get off with drink driving(a judge and at the time a director of a large building society).
Often the police / establishment attitude is deny it happened it will go away, even saville seemed untouchable while he was alive.
Sad that whistleblowers seem to suffer more than the perpetrators.

As you say PE has lots of references to various people over the years.
It does seem that some people in positions of power did abuse children whilst others ignored it for whatever reason.
The problem is with the passage of years and arseholes like this one I dont think there will ever be a proper and full resolution of what went on and how.
Some people have been found guilty.
Some others will get away with it.
Some innocents have been dragged into it and had their lives wrecked.
Sadly the incompetence or deliberate ignorance of the police at the time means justice will never fully be done. This case though seems to be the police trying to undo that mistake and overreaching not least because of political pressure on them.

It does seem that some people in positions of power did abuse children whilst others ignored it for whatever reason.

Does anyone genuinely think that this is an establishment fit up?

If so, please explain why, when they found pictures of child abuse on Beech's PC, he didn't accuse Prince Phillip, the masons and the templars, but tried to fit up his own son.

Clearly a lovely man, of unimpeachable character.
