I've just been shopping in the local supermarket. Nothing special, just a few bits apples, bread, smoked salmon etc
Got the the till and the total was 30.00 chf ( Swiss francs )

Cool - a round number, that doesn't happen very often.

You know how it is, different currency so pay for everything with notes 🙂
I wanted to off load a load of change I've been accumulating so started counting? I had exactly 30.00 in change.

SWEET

One in a thousand, so if you visit any shop say twice a day, it'll happen once every 18 months ish.

Francland? Anyway, I bet you were pretty CHFed with the result.

So if that's a one in 1000, what are the odds of that AND having the correct change to pay for it.

That assumes a uniform distribution of prices though, which there aren't, and IME our continental friends don't go in for the 'x.99' pricing, so it's probably more likely.

Still, these things tend to please me too.

The Swiss version of Poundland translates to 'Threepoundland'
