Disagree with the toaster. I've never owned one that takes a full slice of bread and toasts evenly and consistently on both sides.

Sky + for me. It's still the best TV setup. Not the content, the box and software. Unfortunately it's getting too expensive.

Heidelberg SM52 2 colour. Mine is 14 years old 55 million impression count (which I know isn't alot) and it's been flooded twice and still producing a high standard of work.

My Festool circular saw has got a depth setting. Yesterday I had to cut a piece of 18mm MDF. I set it to 18mm and it made a beautiful clean cut through the board, but didn't go through the label that was stuck on the back. Now that's accurate.

good shout klunk but rod brakes don't really qualify as safety any more as far as I'm concerned [edit] yes I appreciate that they were a big improvement on the push brake that pressed a shoe onto the tread of the tyre (downhill blowout mechanism, no thanks)

ok mine - kettle. fill with required water, switch on, return to the kettle when the click is heard to be presented with hot water.

I've lived all these years, bought so many takeaways and only just discovered the "curry hook".
