The suns up and blasting already, still a chill in the air though. Looks to be a perfect spring day for some pedals but my bike has been kidnapped by laddo!
After a day of patio jetwashing yesterday I think a big walk out with the dog is in order and maybe a cheeky pint....

Sitting on the sofa watching Tom&Jerry with my son.
Feeling like I’ve been run over but at least my face seems to have stop leaking non stop mucus.

Then this arvo it's decking time.

Hoping to actually get out on the road bike to give me a break from riding the rollers all the time. Will probably end up having to do a load of boring stuff like lawn mowing too though. Would love to hear over to Woburn to ride some proper trails but doubt I'll have time. It looks great out there!

Cleaning this morning. Bacon sandwich shortly. Taking the kids and wife to country park playground this afternoon. Pub tea with family afterwards. It's new bike day for me too 😃😃🚲👈🚀🚀 so I'll have to find time to fettle that and plans to end the day at Cannock with my mate this evening. Could be worse 😉

There’s still a 7x3mm crack in the skin on the ball of my foot that has stayed about static for the last few months. Which is all the more frustrating as it’s so small (relative to the 7x3 inch hole 9 months ago), but I don’t want to risk setting it back any.

Went for a morning ride, knocked 15 seconds off my PR for a 16 minute climb. Was quite pleased. Came home, ate a big plate of spicy ribs and chips, plus some beer. Now blasting out really vile farts. Life is good.

Went for a ride, did some yoga, and then walked to the shops. At the shops I discovered that this is asking too much of my legs and I had a very slow, cane (it lives in my bag) assisted, walk home. So the rest of the day shall be spent not moving much - maybe some coding but maybe not. Have an idea for something that I want to make...

Was supposed to be working running a charity abseil at Spinnaker Tower.

Wind at 100m was around 20mph though (and -2 with wind chill at 7:30!) so unable to continue safely. Means I’m now sat at home eating home made sausage rolls...

Same as yesterday, at work. 🙁
Can't really complain though as I had a long weekend off last weekend in Belgium for the Tour of Flanders. And it's pub quiz tonight.

Just back from 55km in Entre Deux Mers with Mrs S. I’m nominally working! Leffe Blonde at La Réole in a bar with Paris Roubaix showing at lunchtime. Early doors it was damp and cold the sun is out and we’re basking in the glow of a job well done. Please don’t hate us.

Ride to Portland into the gale and dropped food off to Barbie at the castle. Then went into The Royal Breakwater at Castletown. Walk through the door and literally bump into a guy who lives 3 doors down the road from me near Didcot. Much confused looks followed. Turned out he was supposed to be diving but the winds put paid to that idea. Very small world.
Rode back with the tailwind and later borrowing a bike and heading over to the quarries for fun in the evening.
