As a result of someone mentioning their cover of Chris Isaak on the Underrated Cover Versions thread, I am now in love.

I had never listened to them before, but as of this afternoon, I think I have heard everything they have recorded.

What a great voice the singer has.

In between filling my head with beeps and bleeps electonica I like a listen to London Grammar as well.

Agreed on the Chris Isaak cover - this is also a good track

They're often on my listen in the car tunes...
Rather good.

Hannah Reid is stunning too.
Fabulous voice.

I have to say that I prefer their first album to their second.

Love that Nord Stage sound.

RNP - thanks for that link. I was spellbound watching it.

All the other artists on the show seemed to thinking "I'm shit compared to this."

And that young spunker with the big hair nearly died from an in-growing hard-on!

Truly talented trio.

She is utter utter class! When i first came across them they randomly reminded me of when I first heard portishead in a dodgy dark bar in Leicester.

The first album used to get played in our studio two or three times a week and no-one ever complained.

Caught them live at Festival No 6 just after they had broken into the big time. Brilliant set - preceding them was Bonobo. A good evening!

Seen them live 3 times - Vocals are every bit as good live as on the albums. Stunning.

+1 DougD. That Bonobo mix of Hey Now is superb.

Her voice is outstanding. Some great remixes kicking about too.

In a similar vein, Freya Ridings is not dis-similar and on my Spotify heavy rotation alongside London Grammar.

The only thing that concerns me is if they can move on from what they are doing. I'm wondering if her voice can work in any other style.

It's all pleasant enough, but she's no Beth Gibbons.
