Looking for recommendations for a log burner polish as my daughter was using the flue as a “ladder” for one of her toys leaving trails all the way up.

I’ve seen a few online but a lot of them say they have a silvery graphite finish. I’m after black matte. I’ve used Liberon Iron Paste on our unused fireplace which gives the perfect finish but sadly says it’s flammable and not to be used on log burners.

Any suggestions?

Just spray it with black stove paint.

Sebo grate polish. Stove will smell for a few minutes after you light it but will come up like new.

Thanks. Zebo is the one I’d heard of in the past but looks like it’s not available any more. There’s one in the same packaging but called Hotspot so might give that a whirl

I've got Hotspot and use it on a cast iron stove. It is very matt in finish; pretty much like putting boot polish on the stove 🙂
