Ok, i know some of you..snaps, Rex, etc, walk about this area on occasions, and i'm wonder if you can help me.

I'm after a Photo shoot location for a friend, it needs these features.

Rocks, specifically big round ones, really big round ones, ideally ones on their own...big enough to put a person on, perhaps 8ft across.

Water, flowing or pools.

If it's near an old ruin or built structure that's fine.

It's important to have easy access and be close area for a couple vehicles for the kit, etc.

Ideally secluded....so possibly not over run or frequented by the grockles, though Autumn maybe used for the colours....

Any thoughts?
and even better pics....

Ta muchly

The photographer has to come from London and he's a place to stay in Lynton.

I have suggested Dartmoor and that maybe used at another date, but they'll need seclusion for this shoot, where have you in mind mate, i know theres alot of choice but the crew, etc..... won't be bouldering to get to set...

But please let me know where you think...when i can i'll come down ride and grab some pics...

Only place that springs to mind with all those is Valley of the Rocks, East Lyn Gorge, Watersmeet area.
Foggintor quarry near Princetown? near the road with loads of rock & water.
Both the valleys that feed Burrator & Meldon resvoirs?

Dart from Dartmeet. Short walk upstream away from the grocks. Job done.

Thanks, snaps, i'm unsure what that access path will be like for the crew, to get down VotR..is there another way down?

east lyn and watersmeet were on the list but i was unsure about any big round rocks....

Theres a road right through the VotR http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=270759&y=149764&z=120&sv=270759,149764&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=751&ax=270759&ay=149764&lm=0
You can get down to the East Lyn Gorge in a few places via paths that drop down steeply from laybys beside the road here http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=273145&y=148865&z=115&sv=273145,148865&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=751&ax=273145&ay=148865&lm=0 And there are some very big rocks about.
Just thought of this place as well about 5 miles west of there http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=265471&y=149323&z=115&sv=265471,149323&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=751&ax=265471&ay=149323&lm=0
