The feeling of sunburn/windburn on a Sunday night. It means it's been a good weekend.
Clean sheets.
Camping in a nice, wild place.
Caledonian pine forest.
Getting tyre pressures 'just right'.

I think it's a spell from one of the Harry Potter books.

A shazam is slang term for an effeminate young gay man.

Spotify is an app for tracking down a potential partner (Spot: I'm For You)

A play list is a list of people you'd like to play with.

The smell just after a real rain cloud burst.
The smell of low tide in a harbour.
The morning sunrise on a clear day.
Wind rattling through halyards.
The first wooosh of spray when taking off a wave.
The sticky sound of roadie tyres on hot tarmac.

Plenty more..

This week, I ave bin mostly eatin:

G O R S E

Discovered in recent years that you can eat gorse flowers without ill-effect. I now compare flavours depending upon geolocation/soil types. ie somewhat overpowering and bitter in Kingsford Country Park, yet light and chestnutty near the Worcestershire Beacon. Cornish gorse, on the other hand, seems uniformly and consistently good.

Better still, and far sweeter - the leaves of pennywort. I recently discovered that pennywort in coastal areas is superior, even having a salty tang from the sea air. A perfectly crisp, succulent salad leaf that is in every way better than all of the overpriced limp leaves you get in supermarkets. Fantastic! Best I've tried is near Tintagel. Worst - Sychnant Pass

The abundance of wild foods available for free (not climbing into a supermarket waste bin either) if you know where to look makes me happy.

At this time of year it's Dulce seaweed, sea beet, wild garlic, sea kale. Roll on the coming year as i discover more plants that are edible, a good website is Galloway wild foods

Oh yeah, just reminded me. Latest simple discovery, you might like it!

Would work well with Cholula and butter. Goes well with literally any savoury food. Mmm, taquitos

the discovery that dental floss can be teased under and used to saw through a massive toilet log that you've left in a girlfriends parents loo that wont flush, hence saving embarrassment of a turd-based tidal barrier.

they may have wondered why flossing in the morning tasted a bit funny though

Being woken by the call of "Daaaaaaaaaaaddddy it's time to get up, Daaaaaaaaaddddy" - well after 07:30 anyway, before 06:00 I'm less keen. Doubly so if the sun is trying to burn through the curtains.

That disabling all the Amazon apps (that i don't use) on my phone has solved it's glitchy behaviour and random volume variations through Bluetooth.

I can now stream music without risk of ear blastage.
