Is there a link between Gorsebank and trails at Dalbeattie without having to use the road?

Yes, there's a track that takes you to the trails.

Yup, head out the back of gorsebank, left of the lake and across a field and there's a gap in a stone wall which leads straight onto the trails. The Gorsebank owner bloke will tell you the way.
