Mate of mine has just announced he has the 2 sachets of death to take.
ONE AT WORK!
Need to show him this thread for his own safety
cheers
cheers all, passed it on.
It gets better, he's apparently going horse riding the day after the procedure!
might read it again as its just so damn funny!
he's apparently going horse riding the day after the procedure!
No he's not.
Oh no he's not! ๐
He may think he is, but he's not.
Keep us updated, please. Look upon it as a public service, and your civic duty, to report on his suffering.
Didn't you have a picolax-like experience at the BBB in 2009, Fred? ๐
He's frantically trying to get the afternoon off as the hospital has told him he'll never make it home ๐
Thats one of the funniest things I've EVER read!!
so has he read the thread then, were there howls of laughter or cries of what was to come ๐

Don't see why not, I had a colonoscopy a month ago and other than feeling a bit spaced out from the sedative was fine the next day. I didn't get to experience the joys of the agent though, got given phospo something for the bowel prep, I commented on this to the nurse and she said the stuff I was given was cheaper but not as effective ๐ฏ as the agent, she was aware of the thread as well ๐

Erm, no? ๐
Feel free to make shit up though, eh? ๐
she was aware of the thread as well
It has truly passed into legend...
Was that really that long ago.!!! I remember that thread and it was truly hilarious.
Eee they don't make'um like that any more.
It has truly passed into legend...
Quite literally
Much thanks to Bluetone for this, I had the procedure and got to know Agent Picolax well. You don't actually feel unwell you just empty yourself and keep on emptying and emptying and.....
Tell your mate not to bother with the sedative it's not sore just mildly uncomfortable and you can get the hell outta there as quick as possible!
Good luck.
UPDATE
my mate is currently 30mins in from taking the first sachet and sending regular updates by text.
3.36pm: nothing happening
3.38pm: somthings happening..... OMG!!!!
3.46pm: Bit sore
3.49pm: It can't be all done they must be more, i'm not leaving the toilet just yet
and that's the last I've heard from him. The hospital have told him that by 10pm he should be 'safe' ๐
