[Closed] Leisure/beginner mtb riding pals

Hi all,

I am [s]quite a beginner[/s] almost a complete beginner when it comes to off-road cycling, but I really like it. Problem is, not too many of my friedns are into it - their idea of the best Sunday bike ride is normally a calm cycle ride around Richmond Park. While I do like Richmond Park, I would quite like to do some more singletrack cycling some times as well. On the other hand, any too-serious group of people would probably intimidate me.

Would anyone be able to recommend a London/South East bike club/organisation that goes for beginner-friendly downhill rides? I'd be very grateful!
