Has anybody done it? Always wanted to be able to surf. I’m going with the family out of school holidays so *shouldn't* be too busy, with Mrs Ready and my 2 sons, 17 & 20. Should I pre book or sort out when I’m there?

Any recommendations on Surf Schools? Staying in Los Christianos...

I’ve just googled 9 surf shops ...

Never been to the island, can’t help.

Ok, thanks for that. I too had googled, but would rather go with a recommendation than go in blindly.

Yeah about 20 years ago. (**** me im old).

If the weather is right (not too windy) it’s one of the best places to surf (I’m spoilt as I’ve only ever surfed Tenerife and Australia) but bear in mind that the coast is very rocky and the rocks are razor sharp  so, try not to land on them.
