...I got a puncture 7 miles into my Thursday nighter. No spare. Fixed the puncture (took me way to long). Set off again, chose a shorter route fearing the worst. Started to rain. Had that sinking feeling of being to feel to many bumps in the road. Stopped. Tyre felt a bit flat, put some more air in. Rode on. Started to feel the tyre deflate... and on and on for the next 10 miles. Took may ages to get to the pub.
