Apparently it won't shut down. When it's told to shut down it reboots. It's a Dell something and is running Vista. That's all I know, I haven't seen it but I've been asked to sort it out...

Any ideas?

Does it do the same if you unplug it and pull the battery out, then reboot.

Cheers

There's an option in control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery, which will automatically restart the pc when an error occurs. Turn that off and you may get some more info on what's stopping it turn of correctly.
