Looking at somewhere nice for our 10th anniversary and came across several 'boutique' places in Keswick. One being Lakeside House, gets good reviews and wondered has anyone from the STW collective stayed there?

Yes, a few years ago. It was very nice, the room was spacious, stylish and comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. We stored our bikes in the cellar store but the external door wasn't always closed by fellow guests, if that bothers you. Easy walk into the town centre.
There is a B&B across town which is very traditional but does superb thai food in the evenings for non-guests.
