So wanted to get some leg warmers, all the major stockists are out of all the lower priced ones, same with quite a few other things ive tried to get, trade depots i use, if you want more than 1 they will have to order it, or theyll borrow it from another depot, instead of keeping stock in, for delivery sometime next day, supermarket tonight, lots of empty shelves, and no staff to fill them or even man the checkouts, seems as if despite major unemploymnet and people not signing on, there are lots of jobs to be done ,but companies want pay to have the jobs done.

Just perhaps somebody could tell senior management of these places if the stock isnt there then we the customer will take our trade else where.

Hang on, what?

You cannot find leg warmers locally or online?

Define lower priced.

Want pay or won't pay?

Why do fools, fall in love?

Trouble is if nowhere has stock of what you want then they're not losing out to a competitor. Managers don't want masses of stock as then their money is tied up, having money in hands means they're able to react quicker to other demands.

It's frustrating, we had no end of trouble getting a suitable shower after an electrician came in and condemned our old one but said he could fit a new one the same day. All stock was held centrally (screwfix, b&q, homebase, wickes, plumbcentre) but they could get the shower for the next day.... when the electrician was busy.

I was in Decathlon today, they had about 10 million leg warmers. I didn't buy any though obviously, because legwarmers are for the weak.

The owners of businesses are well aware of how well stocked customers would like their shops to be and how well staffed too. But sometimes the customers aren't the point and a longer game is being played.

Shops can't get people who want short-term work because our lazy workshy British workers have got used to sitting around on their fat arses watching TV all day and now they just want to go on X Factor and become singing millionaires. Polish workers would do the job but they probably wouldn't want short-term work and some probably don't read English too well and if what I see reported on this forum is right, many have gone home anyway.
