Anyone trying to buy tickets this morning? Any luck?
Phoneline's now saying number not recognised, website down from before the ticket sales started, showing a page with no buy button. Still, as long as the touts get their share.

Damn Tate doing their own sales. Don't think they can handle more than 1 hit/hour.

Getting annoyed.

Just had a look at the Tate's facebook page- no sign of anyone having got a ticket at all.

The time I saw them at Brixton 8 or so years ago was awesome and I only paid £27 for the tickets. I would love to see them in London but as they are playing at Sonar that is more tempting for me

Knew it would be like this, so didn't even try.

Watching them play in Manchester Velodrome was a perfect enough match for me.

Two tickets for Techno Pop - that was the only night they had left. I wanted The Mix ideally but hey.

🙂

"At 17:15 GMT a Tate spokesperson told the BBC that "all tickets to Kraftwerk - The Catalogue 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 have now sold out"."

They were talking about this on 6Music, and a bunch of people actually turned up at the Tate and demanded that they be able to buy tickets there, which the Tate finally agreed to. One big cluster****, it seems the Tate just does not have the facilities or web capability to handle demand like this.

Hmm, Kraftwerk at Sonar, it´s just a few hours away from me.
Very tempted, there´s some good biking spots not far from there too.

I saw them in Madrid last time round.
Not much left of the original line up anymore but who cares.

Still, as long as the touts get their share.

The touts strategy is to bombard sites so that they go down, not to buy all the tickets but to create the expectation that the tickets are unobtainable - that creates the panic that makes people pay the premium for touted tickets, even though often the tickets aren't sold out

I don't think the touts are bright enough to DoS a site to bring it down..
