Have an open plan kitchen diner lounge. We have a recirculating cooker hood as can't vent to outside due to joust running wrong direction, wondering about an envirovent heatsava to improve ventilation and recover the heat. Has anyone used one and if so any good?

You will need to fit it to an outside wall.
Any ventilation in a kitchen is a good thing.
I looked into fitting a heatsaver fan a few years ago for a customer. The cost of it just didnt add up, £300+, then only 75% efficient, means you are paying more than a normal fan to keep it running, and the install cost is 6 times more.
A 100mm trickle fan with humidistat and boost will be the best thing at a far more reasonable price.
