The bloke in whitby smokes a mean kipper in the shed next to his shop. Great little place. Really nice guy who will show you the smoke room and chat away if Its not busy. He almost always sells out so we dont leave it late!!!

Kippers do tend to all have bones, on the whole. Otherwise they'd be a jellyfish I suppose.

Had kippers and toast for breakfast on Sunday.... marvelous. Did some for my mum who was over moon as she hadn't had them for about 10 years!

Usually grilled or fried with a beef tomato and of course some brown buttered toast. Nom!
