Any kitchen experts know if it's possible to fit a Kessebohmer Le Mans 2 that's for a 450mm unit into a 500mm unit?
And if so where I can get an installation template from?

I've fitted these to our kitchen. Yeah will be fine. Ours came with a template, I expect you can download one from the internet and print out if you want. But basically it's just a central shaft and it needs to be drilled basically behind the central post, if that makes sense.

That's also known as a Fly Moon in other retailers' descriptions.  My cupboard door was wide enough for the 500 but not the cabinet was not deep enough so I bought the smaller one.  I pushed the unit as far as I could into the blind end, so it would still function properly then put an additional vertical divider in so we can store chopping boards and the spare draining rack.

Works a treat.  If you figure out how it works you can manage without the fitting template.  The racks aren't quite as generous as the 500 but we can stack all of our bowls and colanders just fine (and we're enthusiastic cooks).
