I have just skimmed this thread
Which is the crux of the issue unfortunately. Read the whole thing if you want to understand what is being discussed. Or just keep getting the wrong end of the stick. I don't care really.
You are struggling a bit now. Hopkins (!spit!) is associated with the DM, and deviant brought up immigration. They are clearly closely related subjects. I'm sure deviant is able to defend himself on this thread if he is not happy with the associations.
Deviant can speak for himself. I am challenging you on what you have said. From what I understand you are saying that anybody who mentions immigration (your words) must therefore align themselves with the DM. Is that correct?
I think you have just made my point for me and the juvenile "well you dont understand" is basically capitulation. I may have skim read the thread but you cant prove me wrong and unlike you I am not ascribing views to people because it suits my agenda.
The worst kind of hypocritical character assassination on your part.
Interesting that when I look at Katie Hopkins on twitter, it suggests who to follow
Nigel Farage
Tommy Robinson
Some Pro-trump supporter called Paul Joseph Watson
You should follow those too Deviant...
clearly meant as a joke, that people can't tell some of it is humor is worrying.
Is grossly misquoting Sadiq Khan a joke? Or a serious attempt to feed you fake news?
Either way you seemed to fall for it.
Paul Joseph Watson
Follow him already, he's good too...Farage gets a little too lost in the details of politics for my tastes...Trump?...nope, not my cup of tea.
Also try Douglas Murray for some good ideas while not giving a flying #### who tries to shout him down.
Can’t find more up to date figures, but in 2015, just under 1000 people were killed or seriously injured by terror attacks in Egypt. (Those figures do not include the Russian airplane that came down). How many in the UK?
I wonder why it feels lighter touch at Gatwick. Do you think maybe our methods are a little more sophisticated? Countries with such high levels of terrorism and less sophisticated intelligence services tend to go for more “ring of steel” type heavy handed protection.
If you could free yourself from the fear that is so easily whipped up, and think critically for a change, you’d realise why trying to compare your experience at Gatwick with your experience at Hurghada is just silly. I kinda hope you actually realise that and maybe you’re just trolling, but I fear not.
From what I understand you are saying that anybody who mentions immigration (your words) must therefore align themselves with the DM. Is that correct?
No not correct. You have not understood it correctly. I can't distill down any simpler than what I have already written.
I may have skim read the thread but you cant prove me wrong
Remind me of what I am trying to prove you wrong on? Let know if you are only going to skim read it though, as I probably won't bother and save us both the time of you misunderstanding it .
The way I look at this is, she's a ****.
Either she believes everything she writes, which makes her a **** (sorry Deviant, no offence); or she's deliberately writing contentious, inflammatory statements in order to stir up outrage and hatred in order to boost her own infamy, which makes her a ****.
So the OP's question then becomes, "a **** talking at the school, good or bad?" and surely that's a question with a pretty clear-cut answer.
You have not understood it correctly
Your argument is simple to understand and you are accusing people of being DM readers because they mention "immigration" Still no feedback on the US ban? Didnt think so.
Not my fault your are incoherent but dont complain that people dont understand you when you are taken to task.

Honestly, I now have no idea what you are going on about. I'm really not doing that. Not sure what 'feedback' you are after.
Not my fault [s]your are[/s] you are incoherent but dont complain that people dont understand you when you are taken to task.
Fixed that for you. Best to spell things right when you complaining about other people's incoherence.
Marina Hyde goes 4-0 up on Hopkins

Nice link, mehr.
I particularly like: "can we have double maths and the birch instead?" and
"in a fortnight or so she will be releasing details of the schools she’ll say have “blocked her appearing” because they can’t handle her truth-speaking. "
😀

Like that subline in the Grauniad article -
"The controversialist"
Good work Malvern Rider 😆
This made me laugh on that link up there:
I love that Katie has literally gone for magenta and cyan on black – exactly the colours this leaflet would be if it fluttered by in a scene-setting shot at the start of a Paul Verhoeven movie.
What's the colour scheme on that Guardian page, again...?
What with the 1st 2 matters on her agenda (Katie Hopkins has an agenda I hear you gasp incredulously), can't help but wonder if she's being sponsored by Robert Mercer and all that lot...

After all, both the Brexit and Trump election campaigns utilized some scary brainwashing technology.
Leave.EU and Cambridge Analytica have responded by telling the Observer that they did no work with each other. Arron Banks, the head of Leave.EU, said it had talked to Cambridge Analytica about working with it “if we won the official designation – but we didn’t”.This directly contradicts his own memoir, The Bad Boys of Brexit. Under the entry for 22 October 2015, Banks writes: “We’ve hired Cambridge Analytica, an American company that uses ‘big data and advanced psychographics’ to influence people.”
Perhaps they're gonna try an experiment where Katie Hopkins goes to schools, then over time the targeted ads of the pupils and their families attempt to slowly swing opinion.
Less a convention, more a black mass.
She's been sacked by the Mail, so I guess she needs a new income stream serving the neo-con corporates.
serving the neo-con corporates.
I'm sure she was spotted doing that in a field one day....
That's a wish list of those I'd like to put up against a wall & shoot.
If that Swinney Twitter reply is for real, he just went up in my estimation.
She's been sacked by the Mail
not a massive victory really, the people that want to hear what she says will next just toddle off to where-ever she pops up. My money's on Briebart. I imagine for many Mail readers, it's already bookmarked on their browsers.
I'd be fine with it if the pupils had a choice of attending or not. Being made to sit and listen would not be ok. Free speech advocate here but I'm also free not to listen. But you sometimes have to listen to get both sides of the argument. I'm not sure of the age of the children and their ability to make an informed decision

Her core constituency lies among people who are hysterically resistant to any kind of change, so I doubt it. I suppose she can just follow the money and earn her crust by echoing the half-formed thoughts of Breitbart readers, but at least that spares the UK having to listen to her poisonous guff.
Hopefully even the Express won't touch her given the libel bill she dumped on the Mail.

Subject matter has changed RD - I don't think any schools took her up on the offer, so she's now preaching hate elsewhere (in the US!) .
